How to restore purchases on an iOS device

If you get a new iPhone or iPad you will want to get access to any videos or collections you purchased on your previous device. There are two ways to do this:

  • Create a Progression Profile
  • Use the Restore Purchases Feature

Create a Progression Profile

This it the easiest way to sync all your purchases and settings between multiple devices, iOS and Android. The How to sync purchases article covers this in detail for all device types.

Use the Restore Purchases Feature

  1. Launch the app on your new iOS device and go to the Profile tab
  2. Scroll to the bottom of this screen and you will see a button called "Restore Purchases" - tap this button
  3. You will then be asked for your Apple Id and Password - enter the one you used to originally to purchase your Progression videos. This is handled by iOS/Apple so we don't have any access to your Apple Id or password.
  4. Apple will then check for any Progression related purchases, associated with that Apple Id, and report them back to the App which in turn verifies them with our servers. You'll then get a pop up telling you how many purchases were restored.
  5. After restoring, you'll find all the videos in the My Library section of the app, ready to download.

Once you have done this, we strongly suggest you create a Progression Profile (you can do this on the Profile Tab). If you are logged into your Profile any further purchases will be added and then you can log in with your other iOS devices (or Android) and get full access to all your videos.
